As a leading global city, New York hosts many of the world’s biggest companies and supports the largest economy of any city anywhere. The result – practically any career is possible in New York. Past NYC interns have coordinated a fashion show for a top designer, learned about financial markets and securities, critiqued scripts for plays and movies, listened to new and upcoming bands, examined x-rays at a veterinary hospital, and so much more. You'll be living in the heart of Manhattan, so when the word day comes to a close, anything is possible in the "City That Never Sleeps."
Fashion. Finance. PR. Over 25 Industries. You’ll benefit from internship placement by an expert in your industry. We’ll help you secure an exclusive summer internship that matches your interests.
Housing. Activities. Meals. Career Seminars. You’re guaranteed an internship and we take care of the details, too. You get Manhattan housing at NYU's University Hall, right in vibrant Union Square, plus meals, transportation, on-site staff, NYU college credit, career development, and program events and activities.
Times Square. Broadway. Central Park. SoHo. We take you and your fellow interns on New York adventures, everything from boat cruises and an evening at the theater to sporting events and concerts.
The health, safety and security of each student is our primary concern. Entry to our residence hall at NYU is restricted to residents and authorized guests only. Discovery Internship resident counselors live in the same secure residence hall as the students. For additional safety, there are daily/nightly sign-ins and room checks. In keeping with a collegiate atmosphere, students are permitted to walk on campus and in our “home area” around Union Square and Greenwich Village, but are required to be in small groups.
